Established

The Garden Club of Crystal River was founded on May 11, 1971. The Club has served the community for 50 years! Our meetings are held at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 1070 N. Suncoast Blvd. (Hwy 19), on the second Monday of the month September thru May at 1:00 p.m.

If you are interested in gardening and learning more about gardening in Florida, please fill out our application form or call Virginia Sturm at 352-249-7278. We would love to meet you at one of our meetings, men included.

We will travel to Jane Weber’s Garden in Dunnellon where after a tour of her garden we will be served tea which she brews from plants in her garden.

Aims of The Club

The aims of this club are to promote the knowledge and love of gardening, to stimulate the art of flower arranging, to aid the protection of native trees plants, birds and butterflies. To encourage civic planting and the general beautification of the community. To affiliate with the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc and the National Garden Club Inc. To provide resources to promote the education of the youth in our community.
